Jean is proud to be a part of Penn State Altoona's 8th Annual Earth Day Festival, sponsored by Eco-Action, which is being held on Friday, April 24th, 2009 from 10am-5pm. Events will center in and around the Slep Student Center.
Planned events include a drum circle led by Jonathan Murray of FunDrum Rhythm Circles, meditation and yoga sessions, canoe lessons and races, children's activities, a headlining performance by Mystery Train, and of course, exhibits by local businesses, organizations, and other clubs at Penn State Altoona. There will also be an alternative fuel/energy efficient auto show.
Jean will have a Compassionate Illumination presentation and will lead an Earth Day meditation. She will be available for sessions on the campus as well.
